• Organize and maintain financial records for the Company
• Compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements
• Undertake client billing and keep a control of ongoing projects and milestone based billing
• Processing expense payments and allocate expenses to relevant projectss
• Issuing bills, receipts and invoices
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Inspect account books and accounting systems to keep up to date
• Managing the status of accounts and balances and identifying inconsistencies
• Preparation, validation and submission of monthly and quarterly UAE VAT returns
• Handle VAT reporting (payables and receivables). Ensure collections and payments are done in line with UAE regulations
• Calculate project profitability and prepare management accounts allocating costs and revenues by verticals
• Any other work as assigned from time to time

Work Experience Requirements:

5-6 years of prior work experience. Candidates with prior experience of handling accounting of a management consultancy setup will be preferred

Knowledge and Skills required:

• Proficient skills in MS Office, in particular MS Excel
• Understanding of UAE VAT laws
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and IFRS.
