Purpose
As a Software Web Developer, your purpose is to design and develop the front-end web portal within ServiceNow for our clients. You will be required to follow the best practices in Software Development Lifecycle for managing your workload including creating the design documents, technical documents and testing documents.
The job requires availability to work and attend meetings during Canada and US business hours. You will be required to have access to high-speed internet.
NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate samples of their web development work. Please provide links (URL's) in your Resume/CV if you have samples of your web development on the internet.
Key Responsibilities
·ServiceNow Service Portal development
·JavaScript (AngularJS, ReactJS) / PHP
·Strong skills on client-side technologies: HTML, JavaScript and CSS;
·Understanding of Databases (MS SQL and MySQL), Client / Server Operating Systems, Networking and IP
·Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (adheres to a solid and reusable object-oriented design);
·Web applications' security principles;
·Knowledge of client-server and internet systems architectures;
·Experience or knowledge of working in ITIL framework
·Web services & APIs design and implementation (REST, SOAP).
·Fluent in English is an asset
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education & Qualifications
·Bachelor’s Degree - Computer Science graduates
Salary & Package
Competitive base salary dependent on the number of years of experience and a year-end performance-based bonus
