Centre for Labour Research is a non-profit organization, currently under registration. It works on labour rights issues and produces cutting edge research on employment rights both at national and international level in comparative perspective. It has produced reports on the child labour and the state of labour rights in Pakistan after GSP+. In order to extend its work to other areas of labour rights, it is hiring 4 research associates.

Are you interested in being part of the national level policy reforms by drafting legislative policy briefs on much needed reforms in the country? Pakistan alone has a labour force of more than 60 million, thus the scope of work is enormous.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
An advanced degree (Master's degree) in social sciences, English Literature, or LLB.
Work Experience
Prior experience in report writing is advantageous but not required
Skills
Ability to write technical reports, information notes and summaries, design communication supports (e.g., brochures, presentations) and produce website contents;
Proficiency in IT (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, etc.) and internet usage
Competencies
Capacity to work independently, plan activities and resolve challenges;
Ability to work in a team, share and listen to ideas;
Good communication skills both written and verbal;
Ability to work in multicultural and gender-sensitive environment.
