Business Development Intern

SILICONPLEX is looking for a dynamic and result oriented Business Development Intern for its exciting new product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for telephone and email prospecting; qualifying and processing marketing leads for the sales team; generating summarized reports of their key findings, as well as identifying and closing incremental opportunities.

This individual will be an enthusiastic team player with exceptional phone communication skills able to understand different buying personas, position and communicate the value of client's Developer tools, and persuade new business prospects to learn more. This individual will be responsible for working as part of a team to support the Account Executives in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives.

Researching the target market and finding companies/vendors to target.

· Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.

· Promote the company’s products addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

· Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale.

· Updating the CRM and inputting information of customers.

· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices and other important data.

· Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients

· Finding and following new sales leads

· Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations or on call with prospective clients

· Negotiate sales contracts and keep records of sales and data.

· Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment

· Developing ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty·

· Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs

· Generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness

· Use client feedback to improve the customer experience

· Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements

· Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
