AMS-Power Engineering is looking for a Technical Product Manager to envision, implement, and launch IoT products in Pakistan, and globally. The incumbent will lead company’s IoT delivery & sales/marketing teams to ensure that the product vision and direction are accurately defined, translated into the product roadmap, effectively communicated to the team, implemented flawlessly, and launched for success.
You must have excellent leadership skills, and be able to motivate the team to progress towards the goals. Your must have a technical background, and have at least a couple of product launches under your belt.
- Lead the IoT team to envision, implement, launch, and market new products.
- New product development from ideation to implementation to launch.
- Product research, vision setting, definition, and roadmap.
- Translate product vision into high-level features and non-functional requirements. Project plan, and project timeline estimations with engineering team.
- Oversee, and manage product implementation.
- Build, and maintain product backlog.
- Product release plans, and successful delivery of new functionalities.
- Product launch in coordination with marketing team.
- Lead product sales in coordination with the sales team.
- Revamp of existing products, and other initiatives for business growth.
- Research and analyze the market, conduct market studies, and users.
- Identify, understand, and engage with the target market/user base to guide product decisions.
- Handle & manage both the software & hardware sides of the products.
- Lead the engineering team in hardware tasks like circuit design, PCB design, validation, integration with other hardware etc.
- Lead the engineering team in software tasks like software requirements specification, features identification & finalization, project planning, monitoring etc.
- Coordinate, communicate, and negotiate with 3rd party vendors for purchase of goods or services.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, potential customers, and business stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities or obstacles concerning product delivery, features, marketing, and sales.
- Coordinate with the marketing for development of targeted marketing plans & surveys across all mediums.
- Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
- Support process improvement and optimization including elimination of existing gaps in process, and improved TATs through continuous review and frontline feedback.
