Job Description
AM Solutions is looking for WordPress Developer responsible for back-end, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, JavaScript, Ajax and JSON).
The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. An understanding of the WordPress Web Development process, including development, and deployment (git, nginx, etc) is required.
You must be a go to person for any kind of PHP/Back-End to debug issues related to WordPress Plugins and Customized Theme and provide solutions and a reliable resource to grow your skills along company growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the Product’s architecture (Website/Plugins)
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin with the help of Front-End Developer Team.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our products
- Developing plugins and addons of any existing plugins in the market
- Team Training to have backup developers in the queue

Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be having strong concepts of OOP, Databases, Logic building and debugging.
- MySQL database creation, complex query design & optimization.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
- Experience developing WordPress Plugins.
- Strong debugging skills with ability to easily and quickly read, write and modify code.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
- Good to have knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Demonstrable experience within scrum framework
- Ability to setup a local environment for testing PHP code (Vagrant or Docker would be a plus)
- Experience of theme development on themeforest and plugins development on codecanyon is must!
- Must have experience in plugins like WooCommerce, Gravity/WPForms, Membership, LearnDash, ACF Pro, Stripe/PayPal Payment Gateways.
- Minimum 3 to 4 Years of experience in WordPress Plugins Development.
