A field technician is responsible for helping clients install, repair, and maintain equipment. They are responsible for showing customers how to use their equipment. A few of the main duties of a field service technician are troubleshooting the equipment, advising the customer on how to use the equipment, building relationships with customers, and following company procedures.

Responsibilities for Field Service Technician

• Create reports of the customers they serviced that day
• Follow all of the company's procedures
• Demonstrate how to use the equipment
• Troubleshoot any problems the customers are having
• Meet all of the appointments in a given day
• Respond quickly to customer problems
• Advise customers on the equipment
• Make equipment recommendations to customers

Qualifications for Field Service Technician

• Ability to lift up to 20-25 Kgs
• Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
• Great communication skills to work with customers
• Amazing problem-solving skills
• A technical degree is preferable
• Ability to diagnose problems with equipment
• Great Electrical and plumbing skills
