GIS Web Developer

OneClout, an IT technology consulting firm providing cutting-edge software solutions to the international clientele, is urgently looking for a GIS Web Developer for the development of highly scaled GIS applications.

An ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of spatial analysis techniques, database management, and web mapping.

Responsibilities

• Developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining an array of custom web-based GIS applications
• Collaborating with other engineers to implement GIS modules

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong OOD/OOP skills and experience applying modern design patterns
• Solid knowledge of standard data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Open Source Web Mapping technologies such as OpenLayers, Leaflet and CartoCSS
• Experience using Relational Database Management systems such as PostgreSQL, PostGIS, MySQL, and etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Bonus Skills

Hand-on experience with the following will be a plus:

• GeoServer, MapServer, QGIS, PostGIS, CatrtoDB, MapBox
• Map styling and publishing
