- Monitor rankings consistently on major search engines
- Make suggestions each week to continue to improve rankings
- Watch for changes to algorithms so we are ready when they happen not after they happen
- Watch our major competitors website ranking so we can compare and adjust our site
- Work together with link building resource at Qinwantech to make sure we get best links and as many as possible
- Request from customer any blog, press release, video, etc on weekly basis to make sure we optimize and submit effectively
- Weekly conference call or skype at same time each week to review what was done week before, what will be done current week and our ranking progress
On site Factors:
1. SEO friendly URLs along with content, title tags, keywords and image optimization.
2. Blogging - Must have anon-site blog and should be updated at least once a week.
Off-Page Factors:
1. Back Linking - Back links will help getting better PR and hence targeted traffic. Try getting upto150 link/month to beat the big dogs of the industry.
2. News/Article Postings - The best way is to publish RSS and encourage other web masters to subscribe to yours. This could take bunch of time and success rate may be low. As an alternative yet quicker way is to constantly post news and articles on some suggested news forums.
3. Community - Engaging people with your brand name could be a big plus (like Pepsi, marks & Spencer, D & G, Nike etc..)creating a community forum and encouraging people speak about their experiences working with different award and gift manufacturers. This could be a forum where anyone can go, create account and share comments. Or some website admins(on behalf of customer)could go and post their comments every now and then inviting people to argue etc..
4. Social Networking -There are tons of sites over the internet like facebook, myspace, Orkut, Academy, Connectbuzz, Yuwie and many more where one could create a detailed profile about the company and then create community resulting in local as well as international traffic.
5. Audio/Video Posts - Pictures and audios speak more than your words. Try getting some interesting videos or at least audios to (how you manufacture awards, how things go within production side, how designers design the peices, what is etching, how you etch something, what is engraving and how you guys do it etc..) be uploaded on Youtube and some similar forums. Specially Youtube has a very good PR and 3-4 videos/audios can be setup with different keywords resulting in definite traffic.
6. Affiliates - Researches prove that affiliate marketing not only gives you more targeted traffic but also brings up more sales. Efficiently structured and well marketed affiliate system will be a great help for more sales and hence business loyalty.
