Academic Advisor

Job Locations: Karachi, Pakistan

Functional Department: Academic Advisory

Type: Regular, Full-Time

Working hours: 8 pm – 5 am PK time (Pacific Time Zone)

Overview: QuickStart is Cognitive Learning Management company disrupting the way how IT training is converted into high impact, personalized and customized learning experience through subscription of its flag ship platform CLIPP. QuickStart is MS Gold Partner and provides IT training to fortune 5000 customers in the areas of App Dev, Dev Ops, Information Security, Cloud computing and Data Science. Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting live orientations with the new enrolled students and sending them all necessary details.
  • Weekly follow up calls to make sure we can touch basis with students in case of any issue.
  • Following up with mentors to make sure bootcamp is on the right pace and if any student needs any additional help.
  • Maintaining scores and grades of the students and keeping a record for it.
  • Answering day to day queries from students via email, texts and calls, to make sure that they are resolved in timely manner
  • Reviewing weekly progress report for students sent by IT.
  • Following up with students who too behind
  • Following up students who are not showing up in class at all.
  • Following up with students who need special attention or referred by Mentor
  • Need to call any batch starting after their first two sessions to take their first feedback
  • Need to send reminder texts and email to students at the day of any kickoff session and 2nd session
  • Sending welcome emails to the students to welcome them on board.
  • Sending emails for all kind of special events in whole year for personalization
  • Sending weekly emails to mentor to check progress of the students
  • Sending progress report to the mentor

Job Specification

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in Customer Support / Sales /Career Advisory

Competency Identifiers

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Team player
  • Customer support/sales experience
