Job Description
- To manage all activities related to laboratory, testing/analysis and documentation. To maintain a proper and organize manner all the laboratory apparatus, consumable/chemicals, documentations e.g. reports of analysis performed, reports of samples sent to third party laboratories, standard operating procedure (SOPs), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), incoming/outgoing correspondences, etc.
- Perform daily and weekly analysis of lean/amine and reflux drum's water.
- To ensure continuous working of reverse osmosis (RO) plant in order to produce polish and potable water as per specification. Perform daily and weekly analysis of water at various phases of RO plant
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly analysis of produced water.
- To collect and dispatch various sales gas samples on monthly basis to third party laboratories.
- To perform weekly and monthly analysis of effluent water, open drain and rejected water.
- To carry out monthly emission gas analysis of all flue gaseous and incinerator.
- To calibrate all the apparatus and meters available in the laboratory on daily, weekly and/or monthly basis and to prepare reagents required for analysis.
- To maintain inventory control for chemicals, glassware, apparatus and ensure sufficient stock are available at all time on order the analysis/testing as per schedule.
- To carry out any other non-schedule test/analysis such as during work over, plant turnaround or plant abnormality.
- Whenever require, to liaise with vendor and supplier to expedite/clarify purchasing of laboratory consumables, apparatus, glassware, etc.
- Whenever require, to coordinate with other laboratories for conducting sample analysis/testing.
Job Specification
* Must have a BSc degree in Chemistry
* Must have 4-5 years of relevant experience
* Experience in Oil & Gas industry will be preferred.
