Job Description
UASG is currently looking to fill the role of a UAS Engineer / Pilot. We are seeking a Flight Dynamics Engineer with understanding of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control and simulation. The Engineer is expected to have good control in flight dynamics, controls design and autonomous systems.
The Engineer will be working with systems and equipment in various stages of research and development (R&D). For deeper learning you will be expected to work as part of a flight team to test the capabilities and limitations of the UAS equipment during the development/testing process.

Job Specification
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Aerospace, GIS (Geographic Information Science), Space Science & Tech, Engineering or related field from an accredited University.
* Basics with Matlab and Simulink.
* One to three years’ experience in CAD systems.
* One to three years’ experience in GIS software.
Field Experience: None Needed
Required:
* Positive, Ready to Learn Attitude!
* Working on setup and operations of geo-referenced field data collection.
* Basic UAV Piloting Skills as you are responsible for tracking and logging all aspects of the flight tests
* Process GPS-based field data using ESRI ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine (or compatible) software
* Experience in building and repairing UAVs
* Experience with RC, off-the-shelf parts (COTS), such as FrSky transceivers, Pixhawk flight controller
* Basic knowledge/experience of piloting fixed wing and multirotor UAVs.
* Troubleshoot in-field issues with remote technical support. * Aptitude for data collection and record keeping.
