Job Description
Project scheduling, progress monitoring, scope management, change management and supervision of project leads.
Maintenance of project plans, risk management plans, quality management plans and the overall responsibility of communication strategy to steering committee and other project stakeholders.
Chair the weekly status meetings, manage meeting minutes, track action items and update on the progress.
Has a clear understanding of project management functions, process groups and knowledge areas.
Responsible for budgetary allocation, expenditure and acquittal of project finances.
Develop and analyze status reports, answer client/customer queries and develop presentations for internal and external discussions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to create documents using standard templates.
Leading focus group/stake holder session for reviewing the various components of the Project
Lead a team of project coordinators to ensure successful completion of tasks and timely submission of project deliverables.
Job Specification
A university degree, preferably a Post-Graduate qualification or higher levels in management or other related area is strongly desired.
-Minimum of 5 years experience in project management/project leadership role.
-Experience with managing large projects in the social development sector
-Experience with managing donor funded assignments particularly in the Education/Capacity development domain.
-PMP/Prince2 certification is highly desired.
