Job Description
ADBLED Pvt Ltd currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Working within a mechanical, and electrical team, providing design and technical support on projects in a Sustainable and Mechanical capacity. To provide a professional and technical consulting and design service to the client encompassing of, but not limited to; feasibility studies, due diligence, designing, specifications, commissioning and defects inspections.
In this position you will be responsible for planning and executing the design and development of mechanical subsystems and components of multiple projects whilst working closely with Industrial Designers and Electronics Engineers to ensure smooth product integration. Along with this you will liaise with component manufacturers to negotiate the correct BOMs for assembly.
Understand the project appointment and scope of work following a briefing and be aware of any limitations of the duties on different projects.
Understanding of project costs and the impact of designs on the overall budget for the scheme, and monitor time against these costs.
FEA (Ansys) simulation and hand calculation on induvisual components and assemblies.
Visit vendors as required to determine the quality of the manufacturing process related to the specific discipline and document it for the whole project.
Carry out and report on defects inspections and snagging and input in to the witnessing of commissioning.
Validation and Verification
Transform and optimise components for mass manufacture
Negotiate BOM's for general assembly

· Solidworks or 3D Design Experience
Job Specification
Expert SolidWorks CAD knowledge and experience (Master surfaces, top-down design, mechanisms etc.)
Skilled at generating innovative and creative solutions for new and challenging mechanical design problems.
Detailed knowledge and experience of product development techniques including rapid prototyping, machining, measurement techniques etc.
Hands-on experience prototyping and hand building early concepts, including 3D printing, part clean-up, hand fettling, assembly etc.
FEA (Ansys) simulation and hand calculations for forces.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence key stakeholders up to senior level.
