Job Description
We are looking for a talented, process-oriented expert WordPress Backend or Full Stack developer to strengthen our team and build on our technical foundation.
The expert developer understands the business outcomes customers expect and works to deliver the product and customer requests on time and within budget while actively participating in the projects production cycle.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects. You will work closely with account managers to execute on website updates and revisions in a timely manner.
Job Specification
Desired Skill Set:
5+ years of experience developing on WordPress, Shopify, Laravel.
Expert knowledge in PHP and object orientated programming
Good knowledge of Javascript/jQuery
Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
Advanced SQL knowledge creating, maintaining and improving performance
Experience with Git and other version control systems
Some front end development skills
A good understanding of REST best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python, Ruby).
- Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
