-To ensure efficient and effective repair & maintenance of machines, Systems & building of the company. -To plan, budget and support the projects at factories and departments in liaison with users, related interdepartmental parties and third parties consistent with the standards and departmental objectives. -Manage preparation of cost estimates based on material, equipment, process, and facility specification by arranging bids and information from vendors, consulting engineers, and contractors to provide supervisor with options and recommended course of action. -To coordinate, monitor, and control the project running in liaison with relevant parties, reviewing the submittal/ shop drawings, monitoring and controlling the schedule, supervising the contractors performance and handing over the project by complying with the overall design, specifications, standards, policies and timelines. -Ensure to prepare, maintain, record and update record of internal document related to project, i.e. specification, drawings, work scopes, and purchase requisitions , equipment and contract services, coordination meeting minutes, schedule status reports, progress reviews, site instructions, change orders, all related work permits requirement, project completion certificates etc. -Participate and support in preparation of the cash flow estimates for the annual/LRP project budget planning and reporting. -Preparation and reporting of monthly Capex cash flow spending/projections in liaison with the project controllers. -To support the factories as per requirements for implementation of preventive Machinery/equipment maintenance services as well as of case by case troubleshooting in order to ensure the optimum upkeep and functioning of engineering services machinery/equipment thus contribute to productivity improvement. -Ensure continuous support upon request to all groups/services/departments for Mechanical installations/equipment for projects and maintenance activities. -Co-ordinate and implement the mechanical installations or modifications of new / relocated/ size changed cigarette manufacturing equipment/machines in order to ensure the efficiency of said devices and their compliance with needs of the factory. Ensure accurate and complete machinery/equipment installation drawings as required for reference during maintenance and repair. -Lead and supervise a highly skilled team of engineers & technician maintain liaison between Engineers & other departments. -Must keep abreast of technologist development in plant maintenance engineering. -Prepare Engineering and Mechanical standards plan, execute & coordinate annual & unforeseen turnaround activities. -To recommend cost effective solutions to Engineer or improvement opportunities. -To participate in achieving production plan by good performance levele of operational machinery and support production units in waste reduction to ensure clean maintenance areas.
