Job Description
- Work in OPD when requiured and ensure that every new patient is seen by psychiatrist .
- Obtain full history, examine the mental state, conduct detailed physical examination and write down medication for outpatients according to the instructions of the concerned psychiatrist.
- Write down the diagnosis and ICD code for outpatients.
- Assume full medical responsibility for all inpatients under the supervision of the Psychiatrist In-charge.
- Write down medication for inpatients according to the instructions of the relevant psyciatrist and ensure that the medication is given by the nursing staff accordingly.
- Conduct daily rounds of both male and female wards to monitor each patient's progress and ensure that instructions of Psychiatrists are being carried out.
Job Specification
MBBS degree from a reputed local or foriegn university, or equivalent qualification and registered with Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.
