Job Description
Bookkeeping and Financial Services for US based small companies.
Work from Lahore based company.
As the Senior Accountant, You will be responsible for payroll and vendor payables are processed accurately and timely; Revenue and accounts receivables are recorded timely and in the correct periods, financial reports are provided to client’s US management on monthly basis and we are supporting our clients organizations with tax and regulatory filing requirements.
You will work directly with the US and Pakistani leadership team to ensure that we work together as a team to
review each other’s work, ensure that controls are executed consistently, and provide backup for each other.
Prepare month end reconciliation i.e. Cash, Fixed assets, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, accruals,
debt etc. for the companies using QuickBooks or ERP system used by the company.
Payroll:
Assist with payroll processing
Recording of payroll journals into the companies' accounting software’s
Act as backup to current Senior Accountant in processing payroll
Vendor Payable:
Process invoices for payment
Process payments electronically or manual check
Coordinate with vendors to receive payments
Accounts Receivable:
Process invoices
Allocate payments received from clients against open invoices
Coordinate with clients for timely collection
Financial Reporting:
Record transactions in QuickBooks/ERP system used by the client using accrual basis accounting
Preparing balance sheet and income statements on monthly basis for client managements review
Preparing revenue and cost analysis at the request of the client
Other:
Assistance with sales tax filings
Manage bank relationships ensuring that issues, concerns and questions are timely addressed and escalate,
as needed
Assist with other accounting and finance projects as requested
Job Specification
Minimum 5 years of progressive responsibility and experience in Accounting
CPA/ACCA preferred
Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance requirements for Pakistan (training on US requirements will
be provided)
Excellent communication and organizational skills (must be able to speak English)
Must be available to work from the Lahore office daily
