Job Description
The CG Artist applies creative, collaborative, technical and quality-control skills to high-level concepts
The CG Artist will be expected to play a hands-on production role as 3D animator, CG motion graphics artist, and VFX artist as needed for projects in the department
The CG Artist will be well-versed in Maya, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, Mudbox and ZBrush
Work collaboratively with team members, VFX Supervisors, CG Supervisor and Technical Director to effectively & efficiently meet client expectations
3D modeling, texturing, animating, lighting and rendering multi-pass elements
3D tracking of footage
Assisting in quoting of CG oriented sequences
Work with CG Supervisor in methodology and solutions for CG shots/sequences
Must be able to work under the guidance of a CG Supervisor or VFX Supervisor to achieve the desired level of aesthetic quality and technical accuracy
Collaborate with modelers, lighters and texture artists to create the final look of a CG asset
