Job Description
Clipsource.com is an international digital media service from Stockholm in Sweden. The service is used by the largest and best TV and movie companies in the media industry.
We are a small and entrepreneurial team of developers working with modern tools and all services run on Amazon Web Services. You will be an important part of the team and contribute with your skills and experience.
The service is based on the LAMP stack and the PHP framework Symfony and we use microservices and graph-based data structures.
Our modern and newly decorated office is situated in 2nd Floor CCA 19-Sector C, DHA Phase 5, 54792,Lahore.
You will be a key player in the development team to develop new and maintain current services and products. You will participate in sprint planning, demo and review meetings.
Job Specification
Work areas
- Develop new features for our products with focus on the front end experience and scalability
- Improve and update current services and products and their codebase
- Contributing to and maintaining design guidelines
- Support colleagues and customers with troubleshooting and fixing issues
- Promote new front-end technologies and solutions
Who you are
- Detailed knowledge of vanilla JavaScript and its features. Experience with web components is beneficial.
- Broad knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and their potential advantages and disadvantages. Hands on experience with either one or multiple of React, Angular, Vue or similar is beneficial.
- Experience with CSS/HTML and preferably advanced styling through SASS or LESS.
- Experience of bundling through Webpack, Parceljs or any similar bundling tool.
- Front-end developer not only by building visual features but also client-side logic and code architecture.
- Experience working with REST API’s consuming JSON, preferably XML as well. Beneficial if there’s experience working with GraphQL.
- Understand the underlying concepts of modern front-end development.
- Proven track record producing tested, well-architectured, and clean code.
- Experience working with Git (or similar source code management) and review processes working in teams.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Bonus if you have
- an eye for UX/UI,
- experience working with agile methods,
- proven experience refactoring codebases, to handle tech debt, and,
- experience in developing for Western companies.
