Job Description
Updates/maintains master release schedule and other deployment schedules.
Researches/resolves escalated, critical, and other large scope customer deployment and release issues, including after normal business hours as required.
Works with product managers, engineers, and customers to resolve deployment and release issues and communicate status/solutions to appropriate stakeholders.
Coordinates activities and maintains all software deployment and release schedules
Creates/maintains Policies and Procedures related to software deployment and release activities in designated online locations.
Attends customer meetings and conference calls as required to address deployment and release issues and processes.
Coordinates deployment and release related amendment requests
Writes queries to facilitate deployment and post-deployment analysis.
Trains, coaches, and mentors Software Deployment staff to develop expertise.
Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements process and other operational improvements.
Performs software deployment, release and administrative duties (e.g., performance reviews, coaching / counseling, staff schedules, etc.).
Performs any other duties as deemed necessary to provide quality service.
Job Specification
Qualification: BCS/MCS/equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience in Deployment and Release Management
Knowledge in software development methodologies/processes (requirements, design, implementation and test). Knowledge of VSTS/ TFS as plus
Ability to interface with all levels of management.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work with cross-functional project teams across multiple locations.
Ability to work independently.
