Safebit Solutions Inc. a growing MSP provider is looking for our next level 1 IT support technician to assist with our growing client needs. This person should be well-rounded technically and be comfortable communicating with customers in person and on the phone. This position will primarily be conducted from within our office but occasional travel to clients’ locations within the greater Houston area may be required.
Day-to-Day tasks will include
• Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system-related issues
• Answering customer questions and learning about their problem
• Monitor clients’ systems through the RMM tool (N-Able)
• Log all changes, information, and correspondence in the company ticketing system
• Maintaining composure and a positive attitude during difficult situations
• Ability to discuss technical topics with customers in a non-technical manner
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Perform software installations, configurations, and updates as needed
Requirement
• Good English written and verbal communication.
• 2 years minimum of on-job experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments
• Entry to Jr level server and networking management skillset
• Certifications a major plus
Night Shift
Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Microsoft Server environment management (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/File/Print)
• Hardware and Software troubleshooting Skill
• Virus removal and file recovery
• Cloud Service Management, Office365/Dropbox/Box/OneDrive
• Basic Networking Knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Time management
• English Proficiency
