Job Description
ONE Technology Services: We are looking for multiple platforms experienced DevOps Engineer (AWS) for one of our partners in the US to join our fast-paced development team. Overall, you will work closely with the entire technology team.
We are looking for people who have experience in dealing with International Customers. We are much focused on accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness as you seamlessly fit within our sprint process and agile methodology. You will be asked to take the initiative on your workload, so self-motivation is a must.
Job Description/Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently on projects, in addition to the technical aptitude for the position. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical and technical staff, understand, product architecture, infrastructure setup, installation/deployment, and end usage models, technical troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective resolution.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the related field
Experience Level:
- 2 years
- Strong DevOps experience on the AWS side
- At least 1.5 years of experience in building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of the software.
- Experience in elastic/open search

Job Specification
Mandatory Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Work in a highly collaborative operations team to streamline the process of implementing a security Confidential AWS cloud environment and introduce best practices for remediation
- Analyze the subscriptions for various business cases to apply organization-specific security guidelines
- Gathering the requirements from the clients about the existing applications to apply the security measures
- Understand the latest features like (AWS DevOps, OMS, NSG Rules, etc.) introduced by AWS and utilized it for existing business applications
- Work on GIT to maintain source code in Git and GitHub repositories
- Proficient with AWS services: Compute and Network, Storage and CDN, Database, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management
- Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
- Familiarity interacting with AWS APIs
- AWS Disaster Recovery design and deployment across regions a plus
- Use tools like Visual Studio Community Edition, Visual Studio Code, Power Shell ISE, and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Work with Agile methodology in XL Deploy and XL Release, CI/CD automation from scratch, Docker, OpenSearch) is a Must
- Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (TFS, PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, Java)
- Work on implementing Continuous Integration and deployment is a Must.
- Conduct Dry-Run Tests to ensure fool-proof execution of customized scripts before execution in production environments.
- Experienced in building, deploying, and integrating Python-based web and mobile applications
- Work on implementing backup methodologies by Power Shell Scripts for AWS Services like AWS SQL Database, Key Vault, Storage blobs, App Services, etc.
- Create AWS services using ARM templates (JSON) and ensure no changes in the present infrastructure while doing the incremental deployment.
- Configure the XL Deploy and XL Release for all the applications from scratch
- Acted as build and release engineer, deployed the services by VSTS (AWS DevOps) pipeline. Create and Maintain pipelines to manage the IAC for all the applications
- Assign RBAC policies Confidential group level and user level as per the LTA created for the services implement new (Automation account, scheduler, notification hub, IoT Hubs, Batch, and other services)
- Write power shell scripts to create the parameter files automatically for all the services in AWS Resource Manager
- Assign RBAC Roles using Organization Active Directory Confidential the Subscription Level to grant access only to required members based on Least-Access Privileges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firewall team, database team, application team) in the execution of this project.
- Use the Service-Now tool for managing incidents and change request tickets
- Experience in troubleshooting the database connection issues on incremental deployments
- Provide status to Business Level management and Technical and conduct Proof of Concept for the Latest AWS cloud-based service
- Exposure to monitoring and diagnostic tools/dashboards like the Kuban
