Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensure that all websites and internet properties under your influence have been technically optimized to attract and engage those visitors that closely match the agreed profile of the target audience;
Build systems and protocols internally that ensure all content is optimized across all platforms and user experiences (websites, mobile, social, video, blogs, retail portals etc);
Continually monitoring organic search rankings to increase traffic and sales;
Using various web tools to track site traffic, rankings, and ultimately sales;
Identifying and implementing required strategies for increasing site traffic through organic search listings without being blacklisted;
Researching and resolving HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues;
Assisting in layout of web pages when required;
Analyzing website strategies and translating qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategies;
Creating and reviewing regular sales reports for various online sites and promotions
Researching keywords using Google, Overture, WordTracker and internal tools;
Research and strategic planning for paid and natural search campaigns;
Staying abreast of (and sharing) changes in search engine signals and market share;
Interact with copywriter and web service manager to optimize copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing;
Research and analyze competitor advertising links;
Job Specification
Education and Qualification:
Graduation Degree preferably in Computer Science, business, advertising, marketing, communications or related subjects;
Excellent Internet and computer skills;
Have a thorough knowledge of online marketing, search ranking factors and critical updates;
Clear understanding of SEO, affiliate marketing and pay-per-click advertising;
Proficient in the use of Internet Explorer and other browsers, with knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel;
Other Skills and Specifications:
Excellent communication skills;
Self-directed when confronted with support issues;
Experienced in managing team of content writers, link builders, and social media marketers
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to manage details, overall flexibility and efficient work habits;
Self motivated, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently;
Demonstrate a proactive work ethic when managing numerous competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes;
Proficient in HTML, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
Comfortable working with API’s, advanced and integrated reporting;
