Job Description

ROLE OF SM:
This position entitles and empowers you to lead our sales teams in specific cities, qualitatively.
To ensure productivity of team individuals.
To have focus on efficient utilization of company finances.
To manage company budget that was put aside for marketing campaigns, effectively.
Frequent travelling & field work (up to 70% of the time)
You are expected to work under a great deal of stress and tremendous pressure.
You are expected to attain up-to-date technical information of our products of dermatology and gynecology segments.
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information.
Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking.
Set the vision for the areas and develop and adhere to business plans to attain this vision.
Lead the sales teams, inclusive of managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring and career development.
Provide quality leadership for customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding Co. values at all times inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements and inspiring others.
Achieve the sales targets, revenues and profitability for all products. Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
Direct the selling activities within cities / territories, inclusive of resource deployment and customers’ interactions.
Liaison with all distributors for orders with payments in time, follow up for dispatch of ordered products, insure prompt availability at desired chemists by distributors, and discounts issues.
In the position of SM, being a leader of all district teams, you are accountable for achieving the sales targets of all areas and profitability goals. Your role will provide direction and leadership to the field district staff while at the same time responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within each region.

Job Specification

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To achieve Sales Targets for assigned cities
To make sure all key products achieve unit targets
To manage and retain all KEY ACCOUNTS (Investment Drs) & their sales
To manage inventory at all Distributors at national level
To ensure availability of our products as per bricks planning & sales
To groom and develop DSMs as effective managers
Hiring, training and evaluating sales staff
To perform effective market research for existing and new prods.
To appraise your newly hired team member on Rx Format
To appraise your confirmed team member on Rx Format
To make sure that touring cost in any territory must not exceed 10% of the revenue/sales generated from that specific territory
To make sure that all potential towns/cities are covered
To make sure that all DRF funds allocated are justifiably consumed
To monitor and control Field Force Performance /activities
To provide Brick Wise Sales of all territories (duly verified) to DM
To provide Monthly Work Plans of DSMs approved by SM
To provide Expense Reports of entire team and yours to DM
Call return report after every visit outside Karachi to MD and DM
To provide Work plan of self to DM by last working day of each month.
Presentation of monthly brick wise sales to MD by SM
