We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles.
The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergencies. You must be able to multitask and take the appropriate action with little supervision.
The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints
Categorize calls according to importance and urgency.
Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information
Ensure the caller is satisfied with the service provided.
Organize our file systems
Ensure the caller is happy with the service provided.
Consistently follow up with the customer to ensure completion and satisfaction
Ensure the route is clear for the drivers and coordinate with them accordingly.
Provide detailed information on traffic, obstacles, and requirements.
Enter and update data in the computer system and maintain a log of all necessary details.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Education: High school diploma.
Work Experience: Previous dispatching/customer service experience.
Cross-functional skills: well versed in multi-line telephone use, excellent communication skills, and proper phone etiquette
Experience and utilising judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Able to identify and handle the urgency of each task and work in a high-stress position.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal skills and good note-taking skills
Social Perceptiveness: Is aware of othersβ reactions and ability to understand why they react as they do.
Critical Thinking: using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Misc. Skills: Reliable and punctual; impeccable attention to detail and unwilling to cut corners; ability to deal comfortably with a diverse customer base
