Job Description
Our startup digital media agency backed by our well-established parent company urgently requires a fulltime permanent Graphics / Web Designer, with exceptional creativity and proven experience of creative graphics and complex web design.
You will be responsible for designing and developing websites according to customers' needs along with various other ad-hoc duties. We are looking for creative designers who can come up with innovative ideas and designs for websites and company branding including logos, promotional materials, etc.
MAIN TASKS
- design complete and elegant web 2.0 interfaces, using photoshop/paintshop, flash for complete B2C/B2B web applications
- designing user experience website mockups
- modifications to existing interface templates to suit customer requirements
- update/maintain existing customer sites
- designing creative branding including logos/graphics and promotional, advetising/marketing material
- plan and manage activities, as well as manage risks and issues using own initiative
- and various other designing/web related activities
REQUIRED SKILLS
- At least 3 years commercial experience involving the design of websites and print material including the above tasks
- Candidates must be exceptionally creative and presentation/delivery focused, and have excellent web 2.0 skills
- must also possess strong experience (3+ years) in the the following areas: HTML, CSS, Javascript (basic at least), paintshop pro / adobe photoshop, abobe illustrator, Slicing/Skinning, flash (including basic action script at least).
- experience of graphical promotional/sales work is a plus
- any of the following are preferable: Mobile app design, Jquery, Animation / Motion graphics, ASP.NET, Popular CMS skinning, Seo, Responsive web design
- Good English language skills are preferable, although not essential.
- must be able to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously and be able to work under pressure at times.
Job Specification
In order to be considered for this rewarding role, you will be a versatile and experienced web/graphics designer with at least 3 years commercial web designing experience with exposure to most, if not all of the main tasks above.
We seek a self-motivated designer with the ability to manage his/her time efficiently to deliver the right concepts, ideas and websites on time.
