Job Description
The Rural Development Specialist will be expected to provide capacity development opportunities, through collaboration with local government, private research institutions, NGO’s on research & evaluation. Provide high quality technical advice on problems specifically related to agriculture and allied sectors. Help with overall strategic program development within the FATA economic development project and specific focus on issues related to community institutions, producer aggregation and value chain development related agriculture; Liaise with relevant opinion and decision makers and stakeholders to sustain and grow the rural livelihoods networks; and play a lead role in cross regional knowledge sharing including learning and exposure visits, workshops and seminars and in producing knowledge products. Job Specification
Master degree from any HEC recognized university in Rural development, economics, Agriculture economics, or field related to job duties;
A minimum of 07 years economic development experience is required
