We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our experienced software team to continue the developing of our Atrium EndPoint solution. The successful candidate will enjoy working with a small, highly experienced software development team that collaborate daily on issues. Job Specification
Technical Skillset
- Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 Years experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL.
- Minimum 3 Years dedicated or combined experience of PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP)
- Minimum 3 Years experience in Handling REST API Integrations.
- Minimum 2 Experience of handling Enterprise Grade MySQL Database, Advance MySQL queries and database optimisation.
- Minimum 2 years dedicated or combined experience of single page JS Frameworks (ExtJs, ReactJs, NativeJs, VueJs).
- Hands on Experience with Linux.
- Hands on Experience with Git & SVN Subversion
- Experience JIRA & Confluence
Preferred Skillset
Candidates with any of the following skillset will be given higher preference.
- Demonstrable experience in ExtJs
- Demonstrable experience in handling high volume Analytical Dashboards.
- Experience of Microsoft Graph API, Single Sign-On (SSO) Integrated Applications.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with MDM Platforms Airwatch & Intune.
- Experience of handling five different REST API Integration Implementations.
- Experience in handling Telecom Industry Data.
- Experience in Product Development.
Quality Control
VoicePlus Software Development Team manages Enterprise Grade Software using Agile Product Development methodology with a high standard quality control environment and requires candidate to adopt the following:
- Ensuring programming quality standards are implemented and object-oriented approach is used for all development tasks.
- Ensuring programming frameworks are utilised as specified by the vendor to make sure frameworks can be upgraded easily as newer versions are released. Framework documentation and guidelines are followed.
- Ensuring use of reusable components as compared to writing everything from scratch and re-inventing the wheel.
- Provided solutions are scalable and flexible to manage future changes and improvements.
- Large tasks are managed in small demo-able steps to allow early-stage wise releases if applicable.
- Ensuring any updates to existing application areas doesn’t compromise or effect any existing functionality.
- Ensuring functionality is tested in UAT environment and related signoffs/approvals are acquired before any production deployments.
- Ensuring any new deployments don’t affect any mission critical systems.
- Ensuring security protocols and recommendations are followed to avoid any security breaches.
- Ensuring systems are upgraded frequently as newer versions are available (i.e PHP and MySQL Upgrades)
- Ensuring Customer Data is handled with due diligence.
- Ensuring performance, security, and availability of mission critical systems.
- Ensuring error reporting and related checks are added to timely log issues and trigger warnings if system is not performing as expected.
- Ensuring compliance to VoicePlus Privacy, Confidentiality, Intellectual Property, Internet Usage and Security Policies.
- Code commenting at line/method/class level to ensure code is understandable.
- Ensuring each iteration or update is tracked via SVN Revisions.
