PHP / Wordpress Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic WordPress Developer with expertise in core PHP to become a valuable member of our IT team! In this role, you will undertake both front-end and back-end development tasks, including the creation of WordPress plugins and themes.

As a WordPress Developer within our organization, you'll have the chance to utilize your skills and experience to deliver high-quality solutions.

Technical skills:

• Proficient in WordPress development, including creating custom themes & plugins and modifying existing themes and plugins.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with WordPress development frameworks and tools such as jQuery, Bootstrap, React, or Angular.
• Experience in Wordpress page builders (e.g Elementor, Divi etc)
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices and experience with WordPress security plugins.
• Ability to develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services into WordPress.
• Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Contact Form 7, and Jetpack.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in PHP and WordPress development (both frontend and backend)
• Experience with custom WordPress themes and plugin development is required.
