Job Description

Responsibilities:

The User Research & Social Media Analyst will be responsible for supporting all UX research needs, monitoring and tracking KPIs, conducting and suggesting research activities for online digital projects. He/She should be able to:

  • Plan, coordinate and run online usability, card sorting, heatmap testing and other studies required to carry out the user research.
  • Work with UX team to understand research needs. Knowledge of various research and testing techniques to be able to make suggestions on a project by project basis.
  • Understand, locate and explore issues and trends on the Internet particularly within social media sphere, such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked in, Blogs, Forums and other online community based sites.
  • Prepare accurate, insightful reports to present research findings and strategic consulting around social media.
  • Ensure high quality reports are produced and delivered on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Formulate and develop social media monitoring strategies and research methodologies.
  • Should be able to perform analytics on the social media platforms.

Job Specification

We are looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of writing research plans, study objectives and stories.
  • Experience of running both online research initiatives.
  • Experience of identifying research needs based on project goals defined by the business or UX.
  • Someone who is passionate about working in-house and getting fully immersed in the brand and working to enhance the UX cross platform in order to contribute to the growth of the business and reducing operational overheads.
  • Good Analysis skills - quantitative data from surveys/studies and A/B testing when applicable.
  • Knowledge of Google and social media analytics to track our KPIs and monitor user behavior.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success among this company of talented individuals. Should be able to communicate confidently in English.
