Job Description
Prioritizes and assigns projects based on direction from management and knowledge of the business needs
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
Identifies team development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
Provides guidance to the team in the solution of hardware/software related problems.
Provides project management services as required for designated work efforts.
Presents and implements technological alternatives to streamline functions and
improve productivity.
Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual; develops and maintains related technology checklists.
Ensures proper security measures have been evaluated and implemented as indicated by company policy and/or best industry practices.
Translates user needs into system requirements with demonstrated skill in presenting information in an effective and understandable manner.
Builds and maintains vendor relationships required for hardware/software support.
Works with project teams to support and enhance the organizations custom designed application.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field and Eight years of work experience in computer systems analysis, design and programming including supervisory
experience.
