Job Description
Vertex Infotech Solutions is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers to identify test scenarios, write test scripts using JavaScript and Webdriver.io, and implement automation frameworks. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on test results, identifying and troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with the team to improve overall product quality. Experience with Saucelab is also preferred.
Location: Gulberg II,Lahore
Office Timing: 06: 00 PM to 02:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated tests for new and existing software products using Webdriver.io and JavaScript programming language
- Work closely with developers to identify test scenarios and requirements
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
- Identify, isolate, and track defects and issues throughout the development lifecycle
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and practices
- Write clear and concise test documentation
Job Specification
Job Skills/Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Webdriver.io
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile app testing and tools such as Xcode or Android Studio
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
