I'm Muhammad Ishaq, on the cusp of completing my Ph.D. in Biotechnology, specializing in the epidemiology of Bluetongue. My academic journey includes successfully completed a research project entitled “Epidemiology of bluetongue in ruminants in Pakistan”, showcasing my commitment to unraveling infectious disease complexities. I conducted six months of intensive research and training at the Virology and Tissue Culture Department of the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale Teramo, Italy, expanding my global perspective and contributing to cutting-edge virology research. Recent achievements include the publication of two papers in high-impact journals, a testament to my dedication to advancing scientific knowledge. Proficient in a range of laboratory techniques such as ELISA, serum neutralization test, conventional and Real time RT-PCR, nCounter Nanostring Technology and Next generation sequencing my hands-on experience translates theoretical concepts into tangible results.
