While I was on my way to university in my bus my mind was all messed up with the thoughts that were constantly causing boredom. It was recalling the saying:
“Every day is a new day”
And I was like oh God! what is new here? Same sky, same sun, same daylight even same people with same predilections for same trends. No new idea, no inspiration. All of a sudden dazzling light dragged me out of my apathy . I felt something new something alive in me. The same daylight , the same road with same sky gave me a whole new sensation. There I saw sun rays reflecting from the canal water creating an aura as if diamonds were spread alongside the road to make path beautiful for onlookers. although trees were there to cast shadow but the light was making its way as if it was filtered and was even more brighter.
For once I aspired to walk on the surface of this crystal clear water without being drowned , without wetting the top of my feet. I yearned to float on water like sailing boats. . The heart spoke to me that it is in everyone’s heart to find something motivating that gives new colours to the same thing as it is said in Surah Qaf verse 37:
“truly in that there is a reminder for one who has a heart or he who listens attentively and is a witness”
There I realized inspite of all the scientific progress no device can lead a man to float on water, nothing can make it weightless not attracted by gravitational pull. Like we are still unable to deceive nature. Human beings often try hell lot of things to be “The Superior” ,to dodge the nature on which God Almighty has created us but ultimately we have to return to the base on which our foundation has been laid
Life is not all about eating , sleeping and gossips. We can find a charm in everything that surrounds us either it is small or big. A pollen grain may have no worth but it can grow a new flower if it is destined to. Paulo Coelho wrote in his novel The Alchemist : listen to your heart .It knows all things because it came from the soul of the world and it will return there “ . when we have to return to the soul ,why not do something valueable to contribute to the soul of the universe to make earth a better place to live in. Do this by following your own way and by living your dreams but not dreaming in slumber. Live means give life , meaning and physical existence to your dreams as dreams are not something fantasy or earthy but something that paves a right path in a right direction with socially and religiously right motives. Make a difference.
If we let our heart rust we will end up destroying ourselves , our society , our generations. It is said in surah Hajj verse 46 :
“ have they not travelled throught the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear. For indeed , it is not eyes that are blinded but blinded are hearts which are within the breasts that grow blind “ .
So let not your desires ruin you. As the light alongside the canal was making its way despite the hindrances to make others perceive its existence , make your inside world be of crystal clear water so that it can reflect true image of a dignified being to the shadowy attitudes to filter their wrongdoings by making them realize. Make this earth sing your song , bid the sky to dance with joy , let the sun, the source of all light and energy, be in your command so that you can be the stars and moon which light the way even in darkness.
