A trust in the name of Iqra Computer Training Trust was formed in 1999 and necessary registration with the government of Pakistan was formalized. It is a professionally managed, non-profit trust which is dedicated to promoting computer related education. Two philanthropists came forward and have contributed regularly since that day.
The future progress of any country lies in educating its masses, especially in the electronics field. An important aspect of the same is the computer. As a nation we are way behind in computer technology, however, we are keen to catch up with the rest of the world. We aim to disseminate the primary knowledge of computer at a low cost to those who find it difficult to acquire it, as they hail from poor families. Also, most of them belong to the backward areas of Pakistan.
