WWHL is a national- level member-based organization. It is an independent, non-profit making, non-governmental organization, registered under the Societies Act (1860), with its secretariat office in Lahore, Pakistan. Women Workers Help Line (WWHL) was established in January 2000. During the last Fifteen years, it has made tremendous efforts to resolve working women problems; ranging from workplace difficulties to legal issues. WWHL launched campaigns, organized rallies, seminars, workshops and dialogues to highlight women issues and create awareness about constitutional and legal rights of women. WWHL has following major program areas:
- Community Based Area Development Program
- Organization and Mobilization among Women and Young Girls
- Protecting and working for Home based workers
- Raising awareness in terms of violence against women
- Women Political Education and Equal Representation at Decision Making Level
- Awareness, Advocacy & Lobbying for Legal Rights
- Strong Networking with National, Regional & International Movements
