  Our Beginnings
  Hilal Meat Products came into being as the vision of promoters of HMP to produce halal and hygienic meat according to international standards at reasonable rates to the consumer. The basic objective of the project is to fulfill the Market need and the meat will be sold to the local market whereas some portion will be exported to the Middle East. In order to meet this objective this project has been launched to produce integrated Halal Meat from a state of the art Slaughterhouse with all processing facilities.

Ideal Location
The Slaughterhouse is located in the outskirts at a 5 minute drive from the city of Fateh Jang. The total area of the project site is 60 kanals on which a shed of animals and slaughtering has been established. The site has been selected for its proximity to the nearby roads for transportation of the animals from nearby farm houses as well as its proximity to the under construction airport to facilitate meat exportation.

• To reduce pollution through proper waste disposal
• To improve meat processing efficiency by introducing mechanization and mass production

Our standards of hygiene

The following measures will be taken to minimize any adverse impacts associated with waste disposal


• All lines carrying the wastewater to centrally designed wastewater treatment plant has been designed and laid away from the water supply lines
• The wastewater line shall be inspected regularly to keep them choke free
• Covered waste bins will be provided in each section especially the limb, head and stomach cleaning sections
• Waste bins will be emptied on a daily basis
• Hazardous material will be collected and sent for recycling
• All left over refuse and garbage that cannot be recycled will be disposed off appropriately
• HMP follows a fully structured Environmental Management Plan (EMP) which provides the framework for the implementation of mitigation measures and environmental management and monitoring during the construction and operational stages of the project. This document contains all commitments made in the EIA report.
