Mira Power Limited is a special purpose company, setup to design, construct, own, operate and maintain 102 MW Gulpur hydro power plant under Government of Pakistan’s Policy for Power Generation Projects 2002 as adopted in Azad Jammu & Kashmir . Mira Power Limited is a subsidiary of Korea South East Power Co. Ltd.
The Gulpur hydro power plant will have 102 MW power capacity with annual generation capability of 465 GWh. The Project site falls administratively in the Kotli district of AJK and located about 5 km south of Kotli town on the Poonch River, a tributary of Jhelum River. The site is about 170 km from Islamabad and 285 km from Lahore.
