Job Description
- Working closely with departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to
- Understand and implement policies and procedures;
- Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization;
- Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and healthand safety;
- Preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates;
- Undertaking regular salary reviews;
- Maintaining employee records;
- Interpreting and advising on employment law;
- Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures;
Planning, and sometimes delivering, training, including inductions for new staff;
Job Specification
- A degree in HR or Business Administration
- Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Must have excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Positive attitude and good learning abilities
- Motivated and ambitious to make a career in Human Resources
- Good MS Office and basic computing skills. Spreadsheet and data analysis skills would be a plus
