Job Description of Senior Php Developer with DevOps:

Job Purpose:

Onewood Co. is looking for a motivated PHP / Laravel developer to come join our agile team of professionals with hardcore experience in PHP with DevOps. The key responsibilities for this role include creating and implementing a collection of Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, recording and maintaining cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus top service platforms.
• Building innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the internal team.
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
• Restructuring existing computer code, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
• Interface with customer and internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as link between development staff and project manager.
• Keep well-informed of new trends and best practices in web development.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential

• 6+ years of proven work experience in PHP with DevOps.
• Having strong understand of core PHP/Laravel development.
• Understanding of full project lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience on MySQL SOAP, REST APIs, GIT, Agile development SDLC, Apache, Windows Server, XAMPP, and Laravel.
• Computer Science Graduate. / Masters Preferred from good institution.

Desirable

• Having strong understanding of DevOps.
• interacting with the DevOps team and taking responsibility for your own testing.
• involved in the architecture, technology decisions and hands on development of several PHP projects.
• Having confident of being Senior/Lead Developer.
• Strong JavaScript web apps / PWA experience (VueJS / Angular etc.)
• Having general understanding of software development best practices, such as working to PHP Standards Recommendations (PSRs), in addition to basic Linux System Administration, Virtual Networking and Docker Containers.
• Good HTML / CSS but backend focused.
• Having clear concepts on clean, re-usable code, high coding standards.
• Experience on building complex modified platforms.
• Intelligent, sharp, driven.
• Detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal, listening and speaking skills.
• Highly motivated, self-driven and ambitious individual willing to take up workplace challenges.
• Demonstrate great interest in the thinking, thought process of design and creativity.
• Having good organizational skills, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking.
• Having good team management and decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Rs. 120,000 /month
