Job Description

1. Verification. When the papers are received for verification ensure that the essential documents to be completed by outreach has been done. If so proceed with the verification. Personal Verification : * Verify the address of the residence and business, resolve/comment in case of discrepancies. * At residential address verify the status of tenancy or ownership. Character Verification: * Character and credibility check both from residence and business through neighbors. * Supplier telephonic verification (If any) * Verify the guarantors information such as relationship with the customer, income, expense, addresses and character etc. * Verify Co-borrowers income, expense and character (If any) 2. Credit Assessment. Carry out credit assessment/ review to establish the credit worthiness of the applicant covering following areas. House Hold Assessment: * House hold Income detail * House hold expense detail * Calculation of effective repayment capacity Business Assessment * Business expense * Purchases * Sales * Net Profit * Loan Purpose * Business Information * Suppliers Name and credibility of supplies/provisions. 3. Relationship * Maintain positive relationship with the customers. * Once the loan is approved by the branch ensure that the customer has been informed of the approved limit and the disbursal date. * Educate and discipline the customer to pay on or before the due date. And this should be understood as normal practice while dealing with Tameer. * Review/ Recommend cases for top ups. * Once the branch reaches the optimum level of loans, ensure that the loan attrition is build up through fresh acquisition and maintain at least 80% of the optimum level. * Carryout regular preemptive contact with the customer with a view to remind him of his/her obligation in a congenial manner. * Be the Tameers representative in the market with the positive image of the franchise. 4. Collection. It is the responsibility of the RO to maintain continuous contact with the customer and ensure timely collections with focus on: * The customers personally visit the branch and make his/her repayments. * Manage the customer before he/she becomes delinquent. * Understand the customers reasons for any delay in repayment and ensure he/she takes timely actions. * Propose solutions to the delinquent customer .try to solve the problem related to the bank. Activate the guarantor at the right time so that the accounts do not flow beyond 10 DPD. * RO must up date the system about the discussion with the delinquent customer on daily bases * Submit the follow up/ daily sheet to the relationship manager * Maintain RO Activity sheet for each and every loan and updated on as required bases to maintain a log of customer contact and response.
