Job Description

Assist the incharge admission office in managing routine admission office affairs. - Coordinate with the faculties and other departments to obtain and disseminate information. - Attend and handle queries and brief the prospects about admission procedure, rules and regulations, provide them the required information, provide counseling and convince them to obtain admission. - Gather prospects data appearing from different sources such as walkin, telephone, internet etc. and enter in the software. - Maintain record of prospectus inventory, handle the cash and generate report to incharge admission office. - Receive applications from walk-in candidates and through courier, verify the required documents and eligibility of the candidates, issue roll numbers, keep record of received applications, enter data in the software, generate reports and provide complete documents to the faculty representatives. - Assist incharge admissions in recording and analyzing the data and preparation of reports. - Assist in conduction of admission tests, interviews, preparation and dispatch of admission offer letters etc. - Perform basic filing, record keeping, typing letters, data entry functions. - Maintain record of admission advertisements, rules and regulations for reference purpose. - Track and maintain inventory of marketing promotional material, office stationary and equipment and keep HOD informed of any updates. - Place admission open banners / posters, information material, enveloping, dispatch / distribution of promotional material. - Conduct Research, surveys, track competition through mystery shopping and measure response to the advertisements by gathering information from the candidates. - Make follow up calls to the candidates to inform them of admission updates and to persuade them for admission. - Attend weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual departmental meetings, prepare and present reports, share feedback and suggest improvements. - Undergo training and self development, display commitment and team work, skill enhancement and value creation, create and flourish a positive atmosphere within the department. - Any other task as and when assigned by the Marketing Manager.
