  IMS was established as a registered partnership firm, in 1996, to undertake instrumentation & process management works. It was later incorporated as legal entity to undertake and continue mechanical engineering works, handled by its predecessor. M/s. ECL (Engineers and Contractors (Pvt) Ltd), which had ceased to function from November 1, 1997.
  
  All the equipment and personnel owned / employed by ECL, was transferred to IMS Engineering (Private) Limited, to provide the continuity of services offered by the Company and availability of the experienced personnel and equipment for similar jobs.

  I&MS was the first private-sector company in Pakistan , who answered to this call and set One-Stop-Shop as mission statement.
